- 12 ounces Blackberries (340 grams)
- 1 ½ cups Water (12 oz)
- ½ cup Sugar (100 grams)
- ¼ teaspoon Kosher Salt
In a medium saucepan, combine the blackberries, water, sugar, and salt.
Lightly mash the berries, then place the saucepan over medium low heat and let it come to a simmer.
Once the mixture reaches a simmer, let it cook for 6 minutes, then remove from heat. Let it cool completely.
Once cooled, pour this mixture in the blender and blend on high speed for 1 minute. Strain into an airtight container, and store in the fridge.
