Salsa de Aguacate (Avocado Salsa)

Ingredients

  • 2 Avocados ,halved, and pitted
  • 3 Garlic Cloves ,peeled
  • 1 Mexican Green Onion (or substitute with 2 green onions) ,roughly chopped
  • 1 Tomatillo ,husked and rinsed and cut in half
  • ¼ cup Cilantro leaves
  • 1 Serrano chile , stem removed
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice ,from about 2 limes
  • cups water
  • 2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • Tortilla Chips ,for serving

Instructions

  • Scoop the avocado flesh into a blender or food processor. Add the garlic, green onion, tomatillo, cilantro, serrano, lime juice, 1 ½ cups of water, and salt then blend until smooth. Adjust the salt to taste, then serve with tortilla chips.
