BALMUDA The Toaster Review

Hola!

I’ve got a product review that I am sharing with you today! The other day I received a toaster
from BALMUDA, a company that was founded in Tokyo in 2003 who has always been dedicated
to being creative with household appliances. You’re probably thinking, what’s so special about
BALMUDA The Toaster?

Well to start, it’s so much more than just a toaster, you can use it to toast pastries, artisan
bread, bagels, reheat pizza, and you can even use it as an oven to cook gratins, frozen foods
and cookies. The secret is all in the 5cc of water you add to the toaster! The steam allows the
bread to create a crisp outer, while keeping the inside fluffy, fresh and flavorful. I especially
loved using the toaster for artisan bread, the steam gave it so much flavor!

To use the toaster, you simply place your toast on the center of the toasting rack, pour the
water into the inlet, close the door, and then choose the mode and set the cooking time and
that’s it! Perfect golden toast every single time!
Today I’m sharing two quick little recipes that you can make in BALMUDA The Toaster and
BALMUDA The Kettle. The first is for ciabatta roll pizza and the second is for a Black Tea Mango
Limeade!

To make the ciabatta roll pizza, start by slicing the roll in half, then spread ¼ cup of your
favorite pizza sauce on both halves. Add a slice of provolone on top, then add pepperoni slices
and a sprinkle of oregano to finish. Set the toaster to artisan bread, add 5 cc of water, then let it
toast for 3 minutes, and it’s as easy as that!

For the Black Tea Mango Limeade, fill BALMUDA The Kettle up to the water line and let the
water come to a boil. Once the water reaches a boil, pour ¾ cup of water into a measuring cup,
then add a black tea bag and let it steep for 4-5 minutes. Pour the cooled tea into a tall glass,
then fill with ice and top it off with 3 ounces of Mango nectar or juice and 1 ounce of lime juice,
then stir and enjoy!
