In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Whisk until everything has been fully combined.
Heat up 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium low heat until it starts to sizzle, about 2-3 minutes. Take two slices of bread and dip them in the milk mixture for about 5 seconds on each side. Transfer the bread slices to your pan and cook 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
