.Hola, today I’m partnering with Sparkling Ice to share with you a recipe for a peach nectarine cazuelita made with Sparkling Ice Peach Nectarine! Sparkling Ice is a zero sugar sparkling water with real fruit flavor and packed with vitamins and antioxidants, and it comes in a variety of flavors with naturally sourced colors that everyone can enjoy! Hispanic Heritage Month (which runs from September 15-October 15 ) kicked off last week, and I figured this would be a great time to celebrate with a cazuelita! If you’ve never had a cazuelita before, it is a drink that is popular in the state of Jalisco, Mexico where tequila comes from! If you’ve followed me for a while now, you know just how much I love citrus, and especially love when my cocktails are a little tart! It’s made with a mixture of fresh orange juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, tequila and grapefruit soda and is typically served with lots of citrus wedges inside of a clay casserole. It’s a bright citrus punch that gets a fizzy nectarine peach kick with the addition of the Sparkling Ice Peach Nectarine, which is perfect for the lingering warm weather.
I hope you get to try these at home, they’re very simple to make and only take a handful of accessible ingredients that you can find at your local Kroger, and if you don’t happen to have any cazuelitas at home, serve it in your favorite glass!

Peach Nectarine and Citrus Cazuelitas
Ingredients
For the Drink
- 2 oz Orange Juice
- 2 oz Tequila
- 1½ oz Grapefruit Juice
- 1½ oz Lime Juice
- 4 oz Peach Nectarine Sparkling Ice
To Garnish
- Lime & Orange Slices
- Nectarine Slices
- Tajin
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, mix the orange juice, tequila, grapefruit juice and lime juice. Shake vigorously for ten seconds then pour into a glass or cazuelita filled with about 1/2 cup of ice. Top with 4 ounces of Sparkling Ice Peach Nectarine, then garnish with nectarine and citrus slices, and a sprinkle of tajin.
